About The Pastor

PastorWilson Pastor Trent B. Wilson

Pastor Trent B. Wilson was born in Carrollton Georgia on September 28, 1972. He is the son of Donald and Kim Wilson. He is married to Cornelia Wilson and together they have two sons, Xavier and Terrance. The Wilson family currently reside in Douglasville Georgia.

Pastor Wilson was educated by the Carroll County School System, graduating from Carrollton High School in 1992. He later attended Southern Union Junior College in Wadley Alabama. In 2002, he graduated from North Central Law Enforcement Academy. In 2006 Investigator Wilson was awarded “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year”.

In 1993, Pastor Wilson accepted Christ as his personal Savior and in 1995 he answered the call to the Gospel Ministry. His early beginnings were shaped under the leadership of Pastor Tommy Allen who served as a licensed and ordained minister for eleven years. In 1996, Pastor Wilson was appointed Youth Pastor.

In 2006, Pastor Wilson was ordained “Elder” by the Bishop Thomas Alvin Body, presiding Bishop of the Georgia General Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.

On July 15, 2006, Pastor Wilson was called to Pastor at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Douglasville Georgia where he humbly served the people for three years. In October 2008, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Wilson respectfully resigned from Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist in order to pursue the call to birth a new ministry, “Open Door Christian Church Int’l’. God has truly shown Pastor Wilson and the Open Door family tremendous favor in every area of the ministry.
